Description

This is a 2004 Fender Classic Series 72 Telecaster Custom in Black, made in Mexico. The guitar is in well worn condition but great playing condition. Some marks on the headstock, back of neck and back of body, as well as edges (see pics). Frets have only minor wear. Vintage ashtray bridge with upgraded graphite compensated saddles. Has the wide range humbucker in the neck for super warm tones. Weight is 7 pounds, 12 ounces. No case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. The Fender '72 Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar is a versatile tone machine. 1972 was a magical year for the Telecaster, as the venerable design spawned options and new designs left and right. The Custom took a classic alder body and added a C-shape maple neck, bullet truss rod, vintage string-thru Tele bridge and 3-bolt neckplate brought to life by a Wide Range humbucking neck pickup and a traditional single-coil bridge pickup. Controls include 2 volume and 2 tone knobs plus a 3-way toggle switch. Black/white/black pickguard.

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup isˇhighly subjectiveˇyou may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
