You're looking at a 1990-'91 Fender P-Bass Lyte made in Japan in Frost White finish. Unique rare basses give you a ton of bang for the buck. They are basically a P-bass with a body that has been shrunk down a bit to make them much more ergonomic. Weight is only 7 pounds, 1 ounce--that's guitar-like weight!

Condition/Playability
Frets and neck in great condition. The necks on these are a joy to play. Slim profile so you can get around easily. Comfortable to play with light weight and body contour on back. The hardware on this one has some fading but looks better than many out there. Missing one knob cap. Plays great up and down the neck and the tone is truly fabulous. Lot of instrument for the money. Was previously played as a left handed bass, so you'll see the extra stap peg holes in pics.

Note: I have a Gator hard case that fits this but the extra length DOUBLES my cost to ship. Therefore, if you want/need a case you can have that one for an extra $40, which contributes about half the extra shipping cost. cheers

TONE
These don't have the weight of a normal P-bass, but the active PU's give plenty of oomph to the sound. With both P- and J- pickups, there are a ton of different tones on tap. Controls are Master Volume, Pan, Bass Boost/Cut, Treble Boost/Cut. The Pan control lets you dial in the perfect balance between the pickups.

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
