Description
You're looking at a 2014 Fender FSR Classic Player 60s Stratocaster in Vegas Gold Finish. Limited run with only 250 made. These are nice feeling Strats, Custom Shop designed, made in Mexico but rivaling many US made guitars. Looks near new. NO scratches or dings. Only imperfections are some scuffs on the metal neck plate and a filled screw hole where the string tree was relocated. Really great to look at and lots of fun to play. Comes with tremolo bar, gig bag, and Fender paperwork. Weight is 8 pounds, 0 ounces. Every time I have one of these Vegas Gold guitars they sell really fast (not kidding), so jump on it. I just oiled the neck, set intonation. It's ready to play (see bottom for details on my setups and packing). Thanks for looking!

Manufacturer Info
Designed by Fender Custom Shop master builder Greg Fessler. This is a Limited Edition Fender Stratocaster in Vegas Gold Sparkle. Top-notch quality workmanship and materials combine for one killer guitar! The body is alder, neck is a 1 piece "C" shaped maple, 12 inch radius rosewood fingerboard, medium jumbo frets, and vintage style saddles on a Custom Shop designed 2 point tremolo. Kluson style tuners round out the entire package.
This Stratocaster sports an alder body with the legendary ‘comfort contour’ design that was way ahead of its time. The body is outfitted with a trio of Custom '69 Single-Coil Strat pickups to deliver those bell-like, bright Strat tones that were the driving force behind an endless list of guitar legends. The Modern Player Stratocaster will deliver the massive tone that you seek, and you will love the flexibility of the 5-position pickup blade selector. Controls included a single master volume, and 2 tone controls. The Classic Player 60s Stratocaster sports a traditional maple neck that is also equipped with the modern features that today’s players demand. The neck boasts a rosewood fingerboard with a flatter radius of 12” with 21 frets which makes for effortless, clean string bending. Hardware includes an updated 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Vintage-Style Stamped Steel Saddles. Aged knobs and pickup covers, along with a vintage-correct mint green 3-ply pickguard complete this package. The Fender Classic Player Stratocaster delivers great sound and vintage looks at an unbeatable value. Includes deluxe gig bag.

Guitar Setup
My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
