This is a 2018 Fender Ed O'Brien Stratocaster in amazing condition. This is all stock and modeled after Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien's personal Strat. Literally like no Strat you've ever heard: has a Fernandes Sustainer in the neck, Texas Special middle, and Seymour Duncan JB Jr in the bridge. One of the mini-switches is called the "active sustainer" and basically it lets you get feedback at almost any volume at the flip of a switch. It's hard to describe and one of the most unique onboard effects I've heard on a Strat. The other mini-switch is a Fundamental/Harmoic blend switch. The mix of features includes vintage hardware, V shaped neck, modern 9.5" radius and narrow tall frets. It adds up to a great playing guitar that sounds like no other Stratocaster. Totally clean, 9.75/10 condition, with one tiny mark on tip of the headstock. Weight is 7 pounds, 14 ounces. No case. Just given a full setup. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Plus, a Texas Special single-coil in the middle position adds even more tonal versatility for more punch. This pickup combination is like nothing you've ever seen in a Strat. Playability is exceptional as well thanks to modern features such as the 9.5" radius fretboard, narrow tall frets, and great-playing 10/56" "V" neck profile. While Ed opted for a more subdued finish package, his visual style is present in the custom "Flower of Life" logo neck plate.
