Fender Eric Johnson Signature '54 "Virginia" Stratocaster 2020 Clean +OHSC 2-Color Sunburst 00620
Description (More pics below)
What It Is
Up for sale is a super clean, hardly played Fender Eric Johnson Signature '54 "Virginia" Stratocaster made in 2020. Comes in original hard case with case key. Weight = 7lbs, 10oz.
Condition
Excellent cosmetic and playing condition. No dings or scratches. Maybe you could find some tiny scuff, so I'll call it "excellent" and not "mint." Looks like a guitar someone played a few hours and then put away. Still has the lacquer showing on the frets, meaning not a lot of playing. All electronics are original and in perfect working order.
Sound and Playability
You can read all the nitty-gritty in the manufacturer info below. This guitar has some unique wiring and pickup configurations that produce incredible tones. DiMarzio HS-2 humbucker and Fender 57/62 pickups do the chores here. Nice fat V neck feels amazing if you like chunky necks, and 12" radius for a flat solo friendly board. Guitar plays great, no issues. Full Fender specs in gallery. (I do a full setup and expert packing--it will come ready to play out of the box.) Thanks for looking!

Recent Review:
"Guitar was packed perfectly for shipping. Everything arrived exactly as described. A lot of care and attention was put into the setup (intonation is perfect). Seller was nice enough to include some extras. Excellent seller! Thank you so much!"
Short video showing how I pack a guitar.
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
About Me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!
