What it is
Up for sale is a 2012 Fender Black Paisley Stratocaster, made in Mexico. It has been upgraded with two Fender Noiseless pickups and plays great. The weight is 8lbs, 0oz. Comes with tremolo bar but no case.
Condition
This one has some playing marks but still looks good. The most visible marks are the two cracks in the finish above the pickguard, and one smaller one from one edge of the bridge to the jack plate. I have also pictured a couple dings on the edge of the guitar. It's missing the rear tremolo cover. Frets and neck are still in great shape.
Features
The electronics include Fender Noiseless pickups in the neck and middle positions. The bridge is the stock Fender humbucker. The C-shape 9.5" radius neck is a well-known Fender staple and the controls are the standard 5-way switch and Vol/Vol/tone knobs. Woods include alder body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard.
Sound and playability
The guitar is set up and plays nicely. You can get a lot of power out of the bridge pickup or more refined tones from the Noiseless single coils. The dark paisley and black pickguard are a captivating combo. Cherry on top is my detailed setup and bulletproof packing (read reviews to see the quality of my setups). Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
