Fender FSR Classic Player Jazzmaster 2013 Rare Shell Pink + Rosewood Fretboard 66893
Description (More pics below)
Up for sale is a rare 2013 Fender FSR Classic Player Jazzmaster in Shell Pink finish. This rare model was only made for a year and has the vintage switching, just like American Jazzmasters. There was a CME shell pink in 2022, and a Player II pink in 2024, but both those abandoned traditional switching for a modern 2- or 4-way switch. Weight = 8lbs, 5oz.
Condition
Cosmetically this is very near mint. The only imperfection I found was a hard to see scuff on back (see pics). Frets are in excellent shape. No issues.
Features (full specs in gallery)
— C-shaped, 9.5" radius maple neck w/ Rosewood board
— Alder body w/ tortoise pickguard
— Medium frets, Lead/Rhythm tone circuits
Sound & Playability
This Jazzmaster has hot single-coil Jazz pickups for vintage tone. As mentioned the vintage switching keeps it real. Vintage tremolo works great. Plays nice all over the neck. The shell pink color is a classic head turner, hard to find on a Jazzmaster. Comes with Fender deluxe gig bag. Cherry on top is my detailed setup and bulletproof packing. Thanks!
International
I only ship to USA and Canada from this website. On eBay I ship worldwide with eBay International Shipping.
Recent Review:
"Guitar was packed perfectly for shipping. Everything arrived exactly as described. A lot of care and attention was put into the setup (intonation is perfect). Seller was nice enough to include some extras. Excellent seller! Thank you so much!"

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
About Me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!
