This is a genuine Fender G&G Tweed hard shell case with red fur interior, made to fit right-handed Stratocasters and Telecasters. This is an older case with several advantages:

— Made in USA
— Real leather endcaps and handle
— Cheney clasps made in UK

Fender stopped making these with Cheney clasps quite a while ago, and there are guys that will only buy cases that use them, as they are much higher quality. Comes with Cheney branded key, and both locks have been tested and work. The case is in very good condition. All stitching is intact. It does have dirt and scuffs as would be expected on a vintage case but no tears.

You will see lots of G&G cases out there that look almost the same as this, but they are not the same quality. Some are made in China, some have a plastic handle and very few will have Cheney clasps. If you want a case that is the real deal how they used to make them, then you want this case.


The fur inside is clean and does not smell bad. Outside--all latches and hinges work great. Leather handle in good shape and comfortable to hold. Ships within 1 business day--pro packing. Thanks for looking.
