Fender JGS J-Craft Jaguar Special HH – Crafted in Japan CIJ 2004-05 – Black – Near Mint 49496
Description (More pics below)
Up for sale is a 2004-2005 Fender JGS J-Craft Jaguar Special HH in stunning black, made during the sought-after Crafted in Japan (CIJ) era. This rare and unique model blends Jaguar looks with modern playability and powerful tone, thanks to its dual humbuckers (HH) configuration.
This guitar is in near mint condition— that means no dings or dents, and the gloss black finish still shines beautifully. In fact all you can find is some minor pick scuffs; most people would list this as "mint." Frets are perfect with no wear. Everything is 100% original, and it comes freshly cleaned, polished, and ready to play. Weight is 7.5 pounds. Comes with worn Road Runner bag.
Features
— Offset alder body, maple neck, rosewood board
— 24” scale, 7.25” radius C-shape neck w/ vintage frets & matching headstock
— Dual Dragster humbuckers w/ vintage lead/rhythm circuits
The guitar is in great cosmetic and playing condition and is basically all you love about Jaguars with a Gotoh Adjust-o-Matic bridge and some souped up pickups. Electronics are the vintage setup with the rhythm and lead circuits, while the bottom switches are on/off for both pickups and a Tone switch. 📦 Ships safely and professionally packed.

Short video showing how I pack a guitar.
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.

About Me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!
