Description

This is a 2016 Fender Jim Adkins Telecaster Thinline in near new condition. Has some killer upgrades with the blue pearloid pickguard and chrome speed knows. I'd say it's better than getting a new one because it looks better and will have a fresh setup done just before shipping. Plus woods have aged for four years now, so it will sound better! These are great sounding guitars with the Seymour Duncan P90s and semi-hollow body design. Also upgraded were the string trees so you get less binding and better tuning stability. The woods on this guitar are just beautiful. Gonna make someone a very happy new owner. Weight is 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Comes with Fender paperwork and black gig bag (or I will include an aftermarket black hard case if buyer wants to chip in $35 for the extra shipping weight--USA buyers only!). For authentic alt-rock pop-punk Telecaster style, the Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline delivers the authentic mid-2000s tone and vibe of the Jimmy Eat World frontman's distinctive instrument. Adkins joined us to design this semi-hollow guitar, based on his TC-90 Telecaster and hot-rodded with several special design modifications that make it the very embodiment of sonic "sweetness." 

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup isˇhighly subjectiveˇyou may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
