Description
This is a killer 2012-14 Kurt Cobain Mustang in Lake Placid Blue with compeition stripe, made in Japan. This was owned by a Kurt Cobain fan, who kept it closeted and rarely played it. Thus it's been played lightly. Included extras:

-- Original Fender paperwork and tremolo bar

-- 2 Extra sets of strings

-- Promotional poster showing Kurt playing red version of this guitar


This limited edition guitar was only made for a couple years. This is really a nice package for the Nirvana/Cobain fan. The guitar is what I would call 9.5/10 condition. It's near MINT. It still has the plastic on the pickguard. I found a tiny mark on back (see pics) that's really hard to see and perhaps with magnifying glass inspection you could find something else, but no big marks or dings.

I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. Weight is 7 pounds, 8 ounces. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking.

All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
