Fender Ltd 60th Anni Classic Jazzmaster Mustang Bridge Matched Head Blonde 42127
Description
This is a 2018 Fender Limited Edition 60th Anniversay Classic Jazzmaster with matching headstock. Guitar is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition. These really have some vintage mojo with the fully bound neck and big block neck inlays. Nitro finish with a matching headstock is also really cool. This one has a few upgrades, including:
— Mustang bridge piece preferred by many over the original
— German made Schaller tuners
— Buzz Stop roller piece that increases string break angle over the bridge to help eliminate noisy buzz and ping sounds on Jazzmasters (no holes drilled for installation and can easily be removed).
Cosmetically, the guitar is extremely clean. I showed a tiny mark in pics, but it looks almost new. Frets are perfect. Previous owner may have lightly sanded back of neck because it feels very satiny and smooth, but you can’t see any sanding marks, so it was done nicely. If you like your hand to slide more easily without the thick gloss you will consider this an upgrade. Weight is 8 pounds, 2 ounces. No case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 14 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
Manufacturer Info
Sixty years ago, in 1958, Leo Fender introduced the Fender Jazzmaster as the top-of-the-line electric guitar. In 1966 we updated the instrument with a bound neck, block inlays, and as a special aesthetic touch, a slick-looking matching painted headstock. These stylish visual cues -- as well as the rich, multi-dimensional sound -- made this one of the most sought-after Jazzmaster models. We reproduced these sterling features in the 60th Anniversary Classic Jazzmaster, adding a few modern enhancements to update this glorious instrument for the adventurous players of today.
The duet of Classic Series '60s Jazzmaster single-coil pickups have the authentic sound that made the Jazzmaster a darling of the underground. Warm and dynamic, they have just the right amount of punch for any music. The uber-flexible control scheme includes the famous Jazzmaster lead/rhythm circuit, unleashing an unheard-of variety of easily accessible tones from a single guitar. The "C"-shaped maple neck bears a modern 9.5"-radius fingerboard with 21 narrow-tall frets for easy playability. Other special touches on the 60th Anniversary Classic Jazzmaster include a vintage-style, 6-saddle adjustable bridge with "floating" tremolo tailpiece, vintage-style tremolo arm, tuning machines and strap buttons, synthetic bone nut, dual-wing string tree and 4-bolt neck plate.
Produced in limited quantities for 2018, the 60th Anniversary Classic Jazzmaster updates the classic 1966 model with features that modern, creative players are sure to appreciate.
