Fender Mark Hoppus Precision P-Bass 2015 Re-Issue! Transparent Green Jazz 2471
You're looking at a near mint condition 2015 Fender Mark Hoppus P-Bass in Transparent Surf Green. No visible dings or scratches (one tiny indent on body--see pic--but it is 9.5/10 condition). Neck and frets in excellent condition. This is NOT the same as some of the other Hoppus basses you'll see. Note how others have serial on front of headstock and say "Prescision Bass" in small letters. The Mark Hoppus bass was re-issued in 2006 with extensive changes, including:
-- Reverses the standard P-bass pickups to give more umph to the D and G strings.
-- The body was made lighter using ash instead of alder.
-- The maple neck is upgraded, using graphite support rods for stability.
-- The headstock decal is the very cool large Precision 70s logo.
-- And the finish is an awesome translucent look--compared to the flat original look.
These upgrades to the bass came after Mark toured with the original design and wanted to improve it. Bass looks new--almost like going back in time and getting one at the store (they're now out of production). Bass will come to the buyer set up and ready to play, along with fast & free shipping in the USA and 30-day return policy. Weight is 9 pounds, 5 ounces. No case. Thanks for looking!
