This is a 2004-'05 Fender '65 Mustang MG-65 re-issue in a beautiful Daphne Blue finish. It has a Crafted in Japan R+6-digit serial. Frets and neck in excellent condition.

Condition
Cosmetically the guitar is very clean. It has some small players marks around the edges (see pics). For a 20-year-vintage guitar, it’s looking good. Frets are in very good condition. All stock except for very cool bent tremolo bar from a vintage Fender.

Sound & Playability
These are great little guitars with a variety of tonal options thanks to the pickup switching, including in/out of phase, while the bridge pickup alone can produce some meatier tones. Easy to get around this C-shape 7.25" radius, 24" short scale neck. Light and easy to handle and oozing Japan made quality. Comes with tremolo bar but NO case. Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
