FENDER PAWN SHOP JAGUARILLO 2012 Sweet Sunburst Guitar HSS 12361

Description
You're looking at a 2012 Fender Jaguarillo in Sunburst finish. These are now discontinued and they are becoming sought after for good reason. Nicely balanced guitar with the offset body of a Jaguar but some more modern sounding pickups and simplified control setup. In my opinion the humbucker sounds really great on this guitar. Just a great looking and sounding guitar. This guitar plays great. Only thing missing is the little holder for the tremolo bar. If you're not a trem user it won't matter. If you are, you can buy a replacement tremolo setup for $30 on eBay. The guitar has play wear, mostly on the edges (see pics). I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) No case. More pics below. Thanks for looking!

Classic lines, modern power
As soon as you lay eyes on the Pawn Shop Jaguarillo, you know you're onto something special. This Jag has all the hallmarks of a rare pawn shop gem: a distinctive body shape, a 3-ply mint green pickguard, retro-cool switches and knobs, and the unmistakable vintage-style tremolo. But hang on when you plug the Jaguarillo into your amplifier, because its trio of custom pickups give thoroughly modern output.
Sonically sweet HSS pickup configuration
The Pawn Shop Jaguarillo sports two Standard Stratocaster® single-coil pickups and an Atomic humbucking bridge pickup to give you a wide-ranging tonal palette. But thanks to the angle of the pickups, the Jaguarillo has a distinctive voice of its own. The pickups are angled to add some extra growl to the bass notes, and some extra edge in the treble registers.
A Jaguar with a straightforward control set
Fender's breaking all the rules with the Pawn Shop Jaguarillo - you won't find the iconic rhythm and lead tone circuits on this Jag! Fender chose a streamlined control set with master volume and tone controls, and a five-way pickup selector - and there's a lot of tone-shaping potential therein.
Guitar Setup
My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
