Fender Standard Telecaster Precision Bass Ltd Edition 2018 MIM Tele +HSC 93075
This is a very rare limited run 2018 Fender Telecaster Bass, made in Mexico. Basically one of the few ways you can get a Tele bass for under a couple grand, as they were only made back in the 70s. This was a limited run Fender did in 2018 with very few produced. Comes with hard case and original paperwork including hangtag.
This bass is immaculate. except for one ding on the edge. You can pretty much tell it was bought new and never used. Still has plastic on the pick guard, protective plastic on the tuning keys and on the pickups. Plays like butter. It's kind of a mix between a Tele bass and Precision, as it has the P-bass pickups, instead of those tubby wide range Tele bass ones (good thing in my book). Nice instrument. Comes with Road Runner hard case with case keys. Weight is 8 pounds, 14 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) I may end auction early if it sells elsewhere. Thanks for looking!

Manufacturer Info
For this Limited Edition electric bass, Fender gave a Standard P Bass the ’50s treatment, adding a Tele-style headstock and 3-ply Parchment ’51 P Bass pickguard. A slab body with arm carve, comfortable P Bass neck profile, 9.5”-radius fingerboard and medium-jumbo frets let this bass play like a modern dream while recalling the earliest days of the Precision Bass.
Other features include a seismic-sounding Standard Series P Bass split-coil pickup and a side-mounted output jack. The Limited Edition Standard Tele P Bass combines vintage vibe with modern playability to create an instrument that’s truly timeless!

Guitar Setup
My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
