Fender Telecaster Bass Modern Player Super Rare! Butterscotch Blonde Tele 04322
You're looking at a 2012 Fender Modern Player Telecaster Bass in Butterscotch finish. These were made for a short time and are now rare. Weight = 9lbs, 0oz.
Condition
Cosmetically it’s a player’s bass. Lots of small dinks and scuffs. I’ve captured some but not all in pics. Frets are in good condition with mild wear. Mods include a large lipstick pickup and stacked knob. Controls are 3 Volumes, one for each pickup, and a Tone knob. Brass nut added, as well as bridge ashtray cover. There are 2 small screw holes on the bass I can’t account for, near the neck plate and nut. I added a small screw in the one by the neck plate cause it looks better than a small hole. Neither of these affect playability.
Features
— Alder body & maple 9.5” radius, C-shape neck
— Two wide-range humbuckers
— Hi-mass bridge w/ brass saddles
— Tele headstock, tummy cut, engraved neck plate
Sound & Playability
This is a chance to get a Tele bass and not spend a few grand. These are made in China but you'll be surprised by the quality. Big bottom end and the extra pickup on this allows for a lot of different sounds. Plays smooth with low action. Discontinued—so grab this one while you can. NO case. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. I ship international. Contact for quote. Thanks!
About Me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
