Inside it has orange velvet that is very clean, soft, and does not have any smells. Two large pockets to hold accessories sit on either side of the neck and you can see it provides great neck support. Outside, all latches and hinges work great. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
