Up for sale is a 2003 Gibson Les Paul Special Faded double cutaway in nitro satin Worn Cherry finish in excellent condition. 23-year-vintage classic, first year of production!

Condition
In excellent cosmetic and playing condition. These have a thin finish to let the tone come through and give a relic look. Very few small marks (see pics). Hard to show some very mild scuffs on back. No cracks or structural issues. Frets are in great condition, no significant wear.

Sound and Playability
Dual P90's make for a great combination on the all mahogany body and neck. Lots of grit and sustain to the tone. World famous SlimTaper 60s neck make these a joy to play and this one plays solid all over the neck. All electronics are intact with no issues. No disappointments here--just a great guitar. Weight is a very trim 7 pounds, 5 ounces. Comes with black gig bag. Cherry on top is my detailed setup and bulletproof packing (read reviews to see the quality of my setups). Thanks!

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
