This is a 2010 Gibson SG Standard Bass in gloss Heritage Cherry finish. It comes with the Gibson factory hard case, with the white fur interior. Very light weight at 7lbs, 5oz.

Condition
Cosmetically, the bass still looks very nice. It has some standard playing wear a 14-year-vintage instrument can accumulate but these are all fairly small and on the edges. Frets are in great condition. All stock, no mods.

Sound & Playability
This bass is really light and easy to handle with no issues or problems. All electronics work great. Short scale basses actually put out more bottom end than their standard scale peers, due to less string tension. NOTE: Do you think some mega-seller is going to even look over an instrument, let alone do a full setup like I do? I personally clean, set up, and inspect every instrument (see details below). I spend extensive time to make sure an instrument gets to my buyer in great playing condition. Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
