You're looking at an awesome 2012 Gibson 70s Les Paul Tribute in a satin Silverburst nitro finish that is in excellent playing condition. The dual Dual Blade Alnico mini-humbuckers have a vintage tone and retro look. Sports a mahogany body, solid carved maple top, and maple neck with baked maple fretboard. The 12-inch radius neck has what Gibson calls "a unique 70s thin-to-thick profile." I compared it side by side to a 60s Slim and it's just a bit more chunky.
These satin finish Tribute models have a thin finish that won't choke your tone, and they also tend to relic quickly. Some nice details--the green tulip Grover tuners, trapezoid neck inlays, and aged plastics and black knobs--make a great looking vintage/modern hybrid. Cosmetically, it's got various wear marks, some of which I've shown in pics. Overall has a great mild relic vibe. Frets are in great condition. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. The Les Paul Studio '70s Tribute achieves the unique feel of a 1970s Les Paul with a thin-to-thick neck profile that starts out slim at the lower frets and becomes increasingly chunky as you slide toward the cutaway. The Les Paul Studio '70s Tribute looks great with a grain-textured satin nitrocellulose lacquer. The single cutaway body has a mahogany base with maple top. Top is carved and bound in creme binding. Maple neck is equipped with unique `70s contour and a classic mortise & tenon joint. Fingerboard is made of baked maple. Neck has 12" radius and 1.695" wide corian nut.

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
