This is a 2015 Gibson Les Paul CM (short for "chick magnet" believe it or not) in satin ebony finish. These were made for a short time in small quantities and are now hard to find. People are holding onto them. Why? Because they are a rare Les Paul with very light and thin body (only 7 pounds 2 ounces!) and a rare one pickup setup and classic wraparound bridge. These have become a favorite for modders, as they provide a nice clean USA Gibson canvas, which you can do a lot with.

These have some classic Gibson appointments like all mahogany body with a carved maple top, maple neck and rosewood fretboard. This one has upgraded Grover tuners and a nice thin finish that won't choke your tone. It sounds great and plays great. Frets are clean. Almost not a mark on it, except for some messiness around one of the tuners on back of headstock (see pics). Comes with a Gibson gigbag and Gibson paperwork. Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. The CM's no-nonsense looks don't detract a bit from its full Les Paul pedigree, with the classic tone wood combination of carved maple top and mahogany body, a glued-in mahogany neck with original heel and width. Guitar also has a thicker rosewood fingerboard with hand-rubbed oil finish and other details all contributing to full-bore looks, feel and tone. A satin nickel wrap over bridge contributes to the rock-hard sustain and slinky playing feel that so many players love, and the guitar is setup by hand to play the way any truly great American-made guitar should.
