GIBSON 2016 LES PAUL 50s TRIBUTE T Goldtop Worn Satin Relic + Bag & Papers 1568
You're looking at a 2016 Gibson Les Paul Tribute in a satin goldtop finish that really turns heads. This guitar is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition and comes with its original Gibson gigbag and all papers. When you strap it on, the first thing you notice is it won't break your back. The mahogany body still has all the sustain and tone of a Paul but with some weight relief to make gigging fun again. The next thing you notice is the TONE from the 490R and 498T humbuckers on board, and the rounded 50s neck profile feels good in the hands.
These satin finish Tribute models have a thin finish that won't choke your tone, and they also tend to relic quickly. Some nice details--the green tulip Kluson tuners, large neck inlays, and aged plastics and gold knobs--make it an attractive vintage/modern hybrid. Cosmetically, it's very clean with only minor wear marks on some edges (see pics below). Weight is 7 pounds, 10 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars.
