GIBSON 60s TRIBUTE LES PAUL Beauty! 2011 P90 Honeyburst 10432
Description (more pics below)
You're looking at a 2011 Gibson Les Paul 60s Tribute in a really pretty Honeyburst finish. It's an amazing looking guitar. The Tributes with P90s are the most desirable to my mind, and they seem to be the most rare. Their chambered bodies give you Les Paul tone in a lightweight package (7 pounds, 5 ounces!). Please note, this has an imperfection on the sides of the nut. The fretboard started to separate from the neck, so I glued it and clamped it, and that was about two years ago. It has never shown any signs of moving since (see pics). I have done this same exact repair to a couple of these Tribute Les Pauls and my buyers never had any problems with them. I have marked the price lower than the going rate.
I have sold many of these Tribute models and the nice thing is they all look a little different. They sport a thin, satin nitrocellulose finish that won't choke your tone. This one has the legendary 60s Slim Taper neck profile. Some other nice details include green tulip Kluson tuners, large neck inlays, and aged plastics and gold knobs. Frets are in great condition. Comes with gigbag. (I do a full setup and expert packing: info at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking.
What You Get
-- Full setup, cleaning, and new strings.
-- FREE USA shipping.
-- 30-day return policy.
-- Ship within 1 business day--pro packing.
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
Manufacturer Info
The Les Paul Model of 1952 to 1956 with fat single-coil P-90 pickups has long been a favorite of plenty of rock'n'rollers, bluesers and garage rockers. As legendary as those guitars are, though, they have certain limitations that are inherent to the breed. Their fatter rounded-D neck profiles don't suit everyone, and as great as a smokin' P-90 can sound, they are sometime considered a "one-sound" pickup. Also, while the traditional Goldtop finish might be undeniably hip, a different look is always welcome. Enter the Les Paul Traditional Pro with Tapped P-90s from Gibson USA.
