This is a 2008 Gibson Joan Jett Melody Maker in worn white finish, made in USA. It's in mint condition with its original hard case and Gibson factory pre-pack checklist and owner's manual. These are now rare and hard to find--especially in this condition! Made for a short time and people are holding onto them. One owner instrument that was played very little. No dings or scratches. If you missed out when they were in production, here's your chance to get one nearly like it came from the factory. These will only go up in value. They have a thin nitro finish that's meant to wear with use and allow the natural sound of the guitar to come through. The Burstbucker 3 is second to none. It's my favorite pickup. Ebony fretboard feels awesome. Frets are very clean. Very light guitar (6 pounds, 8 ounces) that's got a huge rock sound. There's a reason after I tried one, it became my number one axe. And that's coming from a guitar dealer who sees hundreds of guitars. I've sold about 15 of these over the last few years and this may be the cleanest one I've seen. While the guitar is near perfect, the case has a few tiny scuffs and some minor oxidation on the clasps. Thanks for looking!
