Up for sale is a beautiful 2002 Gibson Les Paul Gothic in satin black finish. Guitar sets up and plays great. Comes with SKB case. Weight is 9 pounds, 1 ounce.

Condition: Grover tuners and all hardware in good condition. Body has almost no damage beyond tiny marks (see pics). Frets and fretboard in near perfect condition. There is cracking of the nitro along the edge of the fretboard but it does not affect anything except cosmetics.

Body: Solid mahogany body with contour maple top. Stop-bar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. Black control knobs and a single-ply black pickguard.

Neck: Super comfortable, rounded 50s profile neck with an ebony fretboard. Moon/star inlay at 12th fret. 1-11/16" nut. Grover tuners and 24-3/4" scale neck.

Pickups/Electronics: Original Gibson pickups: 490R neck and 490T bridge humbuckers. Dual volume/tone controls and 3-way pickup switch.

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
