GIBSON SG Special 60s TRIBUTE Worn WHITE Nitro Finish P90s +Bag Nice! 10617
Description
This is a killer 2011 Gibson SG 60s Tribute in classic satin worn white finish. It's all about Tone with the two Alnico P90 pickups on the mahogany body and neck. The thin nitro finish really lets some warm sustain shine through. Thin, light body doesn't weigh you down, and it sports the well-known Slim Taper 60s neck profile. Very good condition with only some minor marks (see pics below). At under 7 pounds, you'll be doing Townshend leaps in no time. Rare Ltd Ed--only made for a couple years. Grab it before someone else does! Thanks for looking.

Manufacturer Info
What do Pete Townshend, Carlos Santana, and Tony Iommi all have in common? Back in the '60s, each of these legendary guitarists played a Gibson SG Special with P-90 pickups. The SG Special '60s Tribute is based around the same revered tonewoods, glued-in neck, and Alnico-magnet P-90 pickups that made its predecessor legendary, with the same SlimTaper™ '60s neck profile that is behind some of the fastest-playing guitars in history.

Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
