This is an ultra-rare 2010 Ibanez ORM-1 Omar Rodriguez of Mars Volta signature guitar. These were made for a short time and now very hard to find. Unlike any other guitar. It's a short scale with large block inlays. Has a blade hot rail humbucker pickup that screams. Gibraltar III bridge, and string-thru-body design. Jet King-style two-piece pickguard, and only one volume control.

Ibanez "tulip" headstock with '70s vintage Ibanez logo looks great. Full mahogany body and neck and string-thru body design make for a tone machine. Super light and easy to handle at 6 pounds, 15 ounces. This one has no dings, only mild scuffs too small for a camera to capture. Very clean guitar. Frets are in great condition. Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. This signature model is excellent suited to handle the blistering tones and scorching solos that have made Mr. Rodriguez-Lopez a contemporary guitar legend.

The ORM1 is a solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It is a signature guitar model of Omar Rodríguez-López, guitarist for the American rock band The Mars Volta.

The ORM1 is based on the second Jet King body style with a single-coil sized humbucker specially designed for this model in the bridge position. Another unique feature is the 24-inch scale clear-coated mahogany neck with the classic Ibanez 'tulip' headstock.

A left-handed variant, the ORM1L, was also produced (Rodriguez-Lopez is himself left-handed). In 2008 the ORM1 was available in black only, but was offered only in white starting the following year.
