RARE! Fender Short Scale Stratocaster Modern Player 24” Scale Black Strat 29564
Description (more pics below)
You're looking at a very rare 2014 Fender Modern Player Short Scale Stratocaster in black finish. Features:
— Alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard
— 24” scale, C-profile, 9.5" radius neck
— Guild bridge pickup & 2 vintage Strat PUs
These are super hard to find. The 24" scale neck feels great in the hands and the slightly downsized body is a nice treat if you're used to a standard full sized Fender Strat. Weight only 6lbs, 15 oz!
This is basically like someone took your Fender Stratocaster and shrunk it down about 10 percent. It's got a nice sounding Guild humbucking pickup in the bridge. The neck plays amazing. Fender didn't skimp on quality with this axe. Body contour on back. Synchronized tremolo. Engraved neck plate. Five-position switch, with Volume and Tone. It's in excellent condition. All I can find cosmetically are some tiny dinks on back and perhaps some mild playing scuffs. Frets are in excellent condition. Comes with gig bag. Grab it before it's gone. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks for looking.
About Me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I take pride in doing a detailed cleaning and setup on every instrument I sell, so depending on my workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
Manufacturer Info
