Rare! Fender Short Scale Telecaster Modern Player White Blonde Tele + HSC 31817
Description (see more pics below) You're looking at a very clean 2013 Fender Modern Player Short Scale Telecaster in White Blonde finish with Fender hard case. Fender did a short run and now these are rare and hard to find. Interesting take on the iconic Tele. Slightly smaller body and 24" scale makes it real fun to hold and play. C-shaped chunky neck feels small but not uncomfortable. The real standout on this guitar is the Guild neck pickup. Round and warm but still has some bite.
Frets in great condition. It has brass string saddles with string-thru-body design and a thin finish with wood grain peeking through. Nice appointments like Fender engraved neck plate, unique pickguard, and ashtray style bridge. Cosmetically this is super clean with no dings or scratches. If it weren’t for a tiny bit of oxidation on the neck plate (see pic) I would consider it mint. Weight is 6 pounds, 10 ounces. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Guitar Setup Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
