Up for sale is a stunning 2005 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut faded guitar in the highly sought-after TV Yellow finish. The thin faded finish is known to let the guitar's tone shine through. This classic instrument is a true gem, with distinct looks and remarkable tone thanks to the two soapbar p90 pickups strapped to a mahogany body and neck. With a light factory relic style, this one is a real head-turner.

Condition
This Les Paul is in excellent condition for its age and looks to have seen little playing time. The faded TV Yellow finish shows the relic wear from the factory, but otherwise the body is free from any major dings or damage. The headstock shows some clear coat peeling, and there is a small dark band on back of neck (probably from a guitar stand), but all just adds to the relic vibe. The neck is straight and frets unmarked. All electronics and hardware are in perfect working order. The rear electronics cover still has its plastic covering. Guitar is completely stock. The light relic look is in high demand these days, and the faded series boasts a restrained, real-world look.

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
