Vintage Ovation Celebrity GC-057 Acoustic/Electric Guitar w/ Onboard Tuner, EQ 11353

This is a late-90s to early 2000s Ovation Celebrity GC-057 acoustic/electric guitar in black. These have a rounded back and what Ovation calls a “Super Shallow” body, meaning it’s very light and easy to hold or play standing up. The guitar has only a couple small marks (see pics), otherwise very clean. The frets are in perfect condition, so it has seen very little playing time.

These have some nice features like binding on the neck and body and some nice abalone inlay around the sound hole. The electronics have been tested and it plays and sounds great. I gave it a setup and it is ready to play. Guitar is currently set up with light steel strings and would be well-suited to someone who is new to playing or who likes playing with a light touch. Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
