Description
This is a 2019 Fender Vintera '50s Stratocaster Modified in the very desirable Daphne Blue finish. The guitar looks and plays amazing. Fender went for a vintage/modern hybrid with this guitar and it has a mix of features you won't find on any other Strat. It has a modern C-shape neck with 9.5" radius and medium-jumbo frets, with a soft satin feel to back of neck. The pickups have been juiced for more output, and Fender fit it with an S-1 switch for extra pickup combinations.
Vintage appointments include a 2-point tremolo with vintage style saddles, single-ply pick guard and vintage finish. Spaghetti logo on headstock along with some vintage style locking tuners. Cosmetically, it's 9/10. Couple small marks (see pics) and frets are very good with just some mild grooves just starting on first three frets. Comes with tremolo bar, gigbag, and factory papers. Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. A contemporary, two-point synchronized tremolo with vintage-style bent-steel saddles offers rock-solid performance and tuning stability. An updated design, this two-point tremolo offers proper intonation, full adjustability and easy access to cool vibrato sounds.
S-1 SWITCH
The S-1 switch adds the neck pickup to positions one and two, accessing previously unavailable tones, or the power of all three pickups cranking simultaneously.
